Abstract
A robust, nontoxic, antifouling coating and process for making the same are isclosed. The antifouling coating comprises a basecoat formed typically from a polyol and a polyiisocyanate wherein a molar excess of polyiisocyanate is typically used. A topcoat is formed on the basecoat by reacting the basecoat with aliphatic branched or unbranched diol.
