Abstract
A method is provided for introducing a fertility restorer gene of a Raphanus plant into a Brassica plant by means of cell fusion or intergeneric cross and a Brassica plant produced thereby. Also provided is a method for producing an F.sub.1 hybrid of a rapeseed plant utilizing Kosena-radish-derived CMS gene and a fertility restorer gene derived from any of the radish plants and an F.sub.1 hybrid of a rapeseed plant produced thereby.
