Abstract
Methods for heat treating goods to remove or prevent contaminants include the steps of identifying the contaminant or contaminants present and then heat treating the goods at a temperature in the range of 117.degree.-150.degree. F. Such heat treatment can be carried out on prepackaged, bulk quantities of contaminated or non-contaminated goods.
