Abstract
Oil soluble compounds having the formula: ##STR1## wherein R and R.sup.1 are independently cyano, alkoxycarbonyl or together form a carbocycle or alkylcarbocycle and R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 are independently alkyl, alkenyl, hydroxyalkyl sulfurized alkyl, or alkoxycarbonylalkyl. The compound are useful as wear protectants or extreme pressure agents to enhance wear protection or extreme pressure properties in lubricating oils and greases.
