Abstract
According to the present invention, there is provided a display screen having a black matrix of a multilayer structure including a fine pigment particle layer containing fine pigment particles having an average diameter of 0.005 to 0.2 .mu.m, and a black pigment layer containing black pigment particles having an average particle diameter of 0.2 to 5 .mu.m.
