Abstract

A silver halide light-sensitive photographic material is disclosed. The material comprises a layer containing light-sensitive silver halide comprising a sensitizing dye represented by the general formula I: ##STR1## wherein W.sub.1 is a fluorine-substituted alkyl group. The spectral sensitivity in the short wavelength region of green light is enhanced and color staining due residual dye is reduced.
