Abstract

A mold in accordance with the present invention can be formed by a method which utilizes a fiber reinforced pre-ceramic resin composite which is cured and fired to form a Continuous Fiber Ceramic Composite (CFCC), or alternatively by use of a pre-ceramic matrix composite, which is cured, but not fired into a ceramic state.
