Abstract

There is provided a detergent composition comprising conventional detergent components characterized in that it contains polygalacturanase enzymes substantially free of other pectic enzyme. The polygalacturanase enzyme is preferably incorporated into the compositions at a level of from 0.0001% to 2% active enzyme by weight of the composition.
