Abstract
The present invention provides a method of use, and a composition, of a carbohydrase and/or a protease for the manufacture of an agent for the treatment and/or prophylaxis of coccidiosis. The agent can be in the form of a cereal-based animal feed. The carbohydrase may be a polysaccharidase such as a xylanase or a cellulase e.g., .beta.-glucanase. The agent may include conventional non-enzymic anticoccidial agents.
