Abstract
Disclosed is a skin-food cosmetic composition containing, as the active ingredient, at least one compound of the formula (I): ##STR1## R.sup.1 represents an alkyl group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms; R.sup.2 represents an alkyl group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms, an alkenyl group having 2 to 6 carbon atoms, or a cycloalkyl cycloalkyl group having 3 to 7 carbon atoms; and X represents --O-- or --NH--. This is useful for preventing the skin from being roughened, chapped or cracked, or from being aged.
