Abstract
Novel benzomorphan derivatives of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 -R.sup.8 are as defined herein. The benzomorphan derivatives are useful for treating cerebral ischaemia of various origins, epilepsy and neurodegenerative diseases.
