Abstract
An air conditioner unit suitable for mounting on the roof of a bus. The unit has a unitary molded base and unitary molded cover. The base has a longitudinal centrally located opening therein which serves as the return air inlet. A pair of evaporator coils are mounted outboard from the opening. Outboard from each of the evaporator coils are evaporator fans. Outboard from the evaporator fans are condenser fans, and, outboard from the condenser fans are a pair of condenser coils. the air flow passages for both the evaporators and condensers are located between each of the pairs of condenser coils and evaporator fans.
