Abstract
An exhaust control drive arrangement for an internal combustion engine for varying the exhaust port timing and effective compression ratio. The exhaust control valve is driven by a servomechanism mounted directly on the cylinder block at one end of the engine and adjacent the flywheel so as to provide a compact assembly.
