Abstract
Poly(Pentaerythrityl diphosphonate) of formula (I): ##STR1## wherein n is an integer having a value comprised within the range of from 3 to 100. The poly(pentaerythrityl diphosphonate) of formula (I) is useful as a flame retardant additive for thermoplastic polymers.
