Abstract
A lubricant for plastic working contains 0.01-40 wt % of an alkali metal salt of an alicyclic polyvalent carboxylic acid, 0.01-20 wt % of a water-soluble polymeric compound, and 0.01-40 wt % of a thermosetting resin powder with an average particle size of 0.1-20 .mu.m or 0.01-40 wt % of an epoxy resin powder with an average particle size of 0.1-20 .mu.m and 0.01-40 wt % of a curing agent, with the remainder water.
