Abstract

The present invention relates to a novel integrin .alpha..sup.E subunit and its functional equivalents. The invention further includes pharmaceutical compositions containing the isolated peptides, oligonucleotides encoding the peptides, vectors containing the oligonucleotides, and cell lines transfected with the vectors.
