Abstract
A composition for enhancing hair growth which comprises a compound represented by the following formula (I) as an active ingredient: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 represents an alkyl group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms, R.sup.2 represents an alkyl group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms, an alkenyl group having 2 to 6 carbon atoms or a cycloalkyl group having 3 to 8 carbon atoms and X represents --O-- or --NH-- and a carrier or diluent acceptable for topical composition. The composition for enhancing hair growth of the present invention has a hair growth enhancing activity and therefore is useful as a hair growth preparation.
