Abstract
The present invention is a rigid thermoplastic polyurethane having a T.sub.g of at least 50.degree. C. having a sufficient concentration of units derived from an aromatic diol to lower the temperature at which the rigid thermoplastic polyurethane can be melt processed. The present invention is also a thermoplastic polyurethane with a flex modulus of at least 100,000 psi, and having a sufficient concentration of units derived from an aromatic diol to lower the temperature at which the thermoplastic polyurethane can be melt processed. The compositions of the present invention show improved processability with insubstantial loss of physical properties.
