Abstract

The present invention provides a method for treating anxiety in a human in need thereof, comprising administering an antianxiety amount of a muscarinic agonist compound of the general formula ##STR1## wherein X R.sup.43, R.sup.44, R.sup.45 and R.sup.46 are defined in the disclosure.
