Abstract
An apparatus for forming Y, M, C, and BK color toner images, includes a controller to control an exposure device to conduct a pre-transfer image exposure on the color toner images on the photoreceptor on the basis of recording signals after the final color toner image formation of the Y, M, C, and BK color toner images before transferring the color toner images.
