Abstract

A method of treating inflammatory diseases, in which peripheral blood of a patient suffering from an inflammatory disease is made into contact with a carrier whose affinity for inflammation-associated cells is higher than that for lymphocytes, and the thus-obtained treated blood is returned to the patient. According to the present invention, inflammatory diseases can be promptly treated without causing adverse side effects to patients, because drug therapy is not needed.
