Abstract
Illumination light emitted by an illuminating light source, such as a halogen lamp or xenon lamp, is projected onto a subject's eye via an illuminating optical system placed in the main body of an ophthalmologic apparatus, while light reflected by the eye is guided to either of a color television camera and an infra-red television camera mounted in the body via an observing and photographing optical system and, in accordance with video signals delivered by the television cameras, an image of the eye is displayed on a color liquid crystal monitor mounted in the main body.
