Abstract

Labelstock for in-mold labeling purposes which is characterized by a tensile ultimate elongation per ASTM D-882 of at least about 10% in one or both of the machine and transverse directions, and which contains a sufficient amount of one or more slip additives to prevent a significant degree of edge-welding between adjacent stacked sheets of the labelstock on a high type die cutter in an in-mold labeling process.
