Abstract
An electrophotographic photoconductor composed of an electroconductive support and a photoconductive layer formed thereon, which contains a charge generating material, a binder resin including a butyral resin containing a polyvinyl butyral resin component at a molar ratio of 68 mol % or more, a charge transporting material, and biphenyl or a biphenyl derivative.
