Abstract

The present invention provides a novel polyacylurethane, and a process for producing the same. More specifically, the polyacylurethane has a number average molecular weight of 500 to 100,000, and the main chain of said polyacylurethane comprises repeating units of the formula: ##STR1## where R.sub.1 represents an alkylene group or an alkenylene group having a molecular weight of 28 to 30,000, which may contain an alicylcic group, an aromatic group and/or an oxygen atom; and R.sub.2 represents an alkylene group, an arylene group or an alkenylene group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms.
