Abstract
Apparatus for selectively generating video signals representing photographic images previously recorded in a film on a photographic film-type medium includes an image pickup device which produces video signals in response to a light image of the projected photographic image, a window generating device which generates a window having a range of video signal values in response to a user input, a processor which suppresses the produced video signals having values outside the generated window, and an enhancer which enhances the produced video signals having values within the generated window.
