Abstract
A deadbolt or auxiliary lock is disclosed which can be mounted in a small (11/2') or large (21/8') lock set hole. A reversible cast adapter is provided which has a plate portion, small and large diameter annular lips on one side and a small diameter lip on the other side with a torque limiting feature projecting axially from each small diameter lip.
