(1RS,5RS)-5-Methyl-exo-tricyclo[6.2.1.0.sup.2,7 ]undecan-4-one, as well as the compositions which contain a preponderant amount of this compound together with its isomer (1RS,5SR)-5-methyl-exo-tricyclo[6.2.1.0.sup.2,7 ]undecan-4-one, are useful as perfuming ingredients for the preparation of perfuming compositions and perfumed articles, to which they impart aromatic, thujonic and herbaceous odors.
