Abstract
A method for cleaning medical instruments, particularly dental articles and dental instruments, with a cleaning fluid applied in a pulsating fashion comprises a step of gas being supplied to the cleaning fluid under high pressure in a pulsating fashion in pulse pauses of the fluid. The apparatus comprises a cassette into which the articles are placed and the cassette is inserted into a chamber of the apparatus which is closable pressure-tight. The cassette can contain adapters for holding the articles and the apparatus includes means for supplying both pulsating cleaning fluid as well as the pulses of gas or air.
