A hot melt ink-thermal transfer recording material having a high speed hot melt ink-receiving property and a satisfactory offset printing applicability and being capable of recording clear images with a high durability and useful as a bar code-recording medium, includes an ink-receiving layer formed on a substrate and containing a polyurethane ionomer and a rosin component.
