Abstract
Protonic, conductive, macromolecular materials comprising a solid complex of anhydrous orthophosphoric acid and polyoxyethylene and also having an antioxidizing agent and/or a thixotropic agent are useful as an electrolyte in electrochromic systems, particularly systems fitted in the vertical position.
