Method of controlling fungal diseases of turf, characterized in that an effective amount of 2-(4-chlorobenzylidene)-5,5-dimethyl-1-(1H-1,2,4-triazol-1-ylmethyl)-1-cyc lopentanol, also called triticonazole, is applied to this turf, and a fungicidal composition, especially for carrying out this process.
