Abstract
Proposed is a bleaching composition for house cleaning which exhibits very high bleaching activity but is free from the problem of an unpleasant irritative odor. The composition comprises: (a) a water-soluble peroxide compound such as hydrogen peroxide; and (b) a compound as a bleaching activator represented by the general formula ##STR1## in which X.sup.1 is a monovalent group represented by the general formula
