Abstract
A Ni free ferrous nonmagnetic alloy having excellent corrosion resistance and workability and high cost performance is described. The alloy comprises, by weight, 9 to 25% Cr, 3 to 35% Mn, 3 to 40% Co and the balance Fe and incidental impurities, and sum of Mn and 0.6Co is in accordance with a general relationship as indicated by formula 1/ , and preferably a restricted relationship as indicated by formula 2/ .
