Abstract

The present invention relates to an aerating nozzle for aerating liquids containing organic substances. To keep the foam formation in organic substances to be aerated within a controlled limits, the present invention suggests that the angles of inclination of the side walls defining the liquid channel should nowhere be greater than 30.degree. relative to the longitudinal axis of the aerating nozzle which extends in the direction of flow, with the distribution bushing whose liquid channel is of a straight configuration being arranged such that is can be replaced by distribution bushings which differ in number and/or size of the gas entry openings.
