Abstract
A transport assembly which is particularly suitable for transporting medical material, particularly organs and tissues. The assembly includes a tissue container which includes a lid having a clamping assembly associated therewith for clamping an organ. In addition, a reservoir bag and collector bag are respectively connected to the tissue container, such that a physiological fluid can be pumped from the reservoir bag to the tissue container, and with fluid exiting the tissue container gathered in the collector bag. A support holder is also provided, and the support holder, tissue container, collector bag, and reservoir bag can be detachably placed in a box for transport.
