Abstract
An antifouling agent containing, as an active ingredient, one or more compounds represented by formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R represents an alkyl group; R.sub.1 represents an alkylene group; n represents an integer of 2 to 5; m and p each represent 0 or 1; X represents a nitro group, an alkyl group, an alkoxy group, a halogen atom or a hydrogen atom; and Y represents a nitro group or a halogen atom; provided that the sum of m and p is 1 or 2.
