Abstract

1,2-Naphthaloperinone dyestuffs of the formula (I) ##STR1## wherein Z denotes the radical for completion of a 1,2-naphthylene system and X, Y, n and m have the meaning given in the description, are prepared by condensation of substituted or unsubstituted naphthalene-1,2-dicarboxylic acids with substituted or unsubstituted naphthalene-1,8-diamines. The dyestuffs according to the invention have very good fastness properties and are employed in processes for bulk dyeing of plastics, preferably of vinyl polymers and polyesters.
