Abstract
Extraction of pharmaceutically active compositions from a mixture of numerous ingredients, in particular from comminuted plants, such as Tanacetum parthenium, succeeds with a high yield and a surprisingly improved stability of the active substances when the extraction is carried out with a gas, preferably CO.sub.2, in the supercritical state.
