Abstract

Disclosed is a display device which receives and displays ECG and other signals from a patient in an MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) control room, which display device comprises a video converter which outputs video signals corresponding to the displayed information, a magnetically shielded cable which transmits the output of the video converter to a location near the patient and a display unit which receives the video signals from the magnetically shielded cable and display ECG and other data in a location near the patient as accommodated in a magnetically shielded housing. With this display device, ECG and other signals can be monitored accurately within the MRI booth without adverse effects on the MRI unit.
