Abstract

A highly hydrous soft contact lens comprising a copolymer which contains as an ingredient a monomer having constitution similar to that of phospholipid represented by the following general formula: ##STR1## n is an integer of 1-20, and, R.sub.2, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 are the same or different groups and alkyl or hydroxyalkyl of 1-8 carbon atoms. Further, a treating solution for contact lenses which comprises a polymer containing as an ingredient the above monomer and a solvent which can dissolve the polymer.
