Abstract
Benzophenone iminodiimides of the formula I ##STR1## which Y denotes hydroxyl or carboxyl, R.sub.1 denotes the optionally substituted radicals alkylene, phenylene or benzylidene, R.sub.2 denotes the radicals OH, substituted or unsubstituted alkyl or NH--CO--NHR.sub.3 and R.sub.3 denotes the radicals H, alkyl, phenyl or benzyl, processes for their preparation and polymers prepared therefrom.
