Abstract

There are disclosed hydrazone derivatives of the general formula [I]: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 is halogen, etc.; R.sup.2 is hydrogen or C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkyl, etc.; R.sup.3 is hydrogen or C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkyl, etc.; R.sup.4 is hydrogen or C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkyl, etc.; R.sup.5 is C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkyl, etc.; R.sup.6 is hydrogen or C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkyl, etc.; A is (CH.sub.2).sub.t, O, S(O).sub.n, etc.; a is an integer of 1 to 4; n is an integer of 0 to 2; and t is an integer of 1 to 3; as well as production processes therefor, insecticides and/or acaricides containing the same as an active ingredient and intermediate compounds thereof.
