Abstract

A stable cosmetic emulsion of the oil-in-water type contains an aqueous phase, an oily phase, and an emulsifier, with the oily phase containing at least one silicone oil and the emulsifier being a polyoxyethylenated polyorganosiloxane with the following formula: ##STR1## The stable emulsion is especially desirable in the fields of cosmetics and dermatology, particularly in creams, lotions, and makeup products.
