Abstract
The subject invention relates to pharmaceutical compositions comprising a safe and effective amount of a compound having the structure: ##STR1## wherein each R is alkyl or hydrogen, at least two being alkyl; R' is hydrogen, alkyl or aryl; R' is alkyl or halo; and each X is independently oxygen or sulfur; and a pharmaceutically-acceptable carrier. The subject invention also relates to methods for preventing damage to skin by topically applying a safe and effective amount of such compounds to the skin.
