Abstract
Diaminoethylene derivatives of the formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 is a heterocyclic group which may be substituted, R.sup.2, R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 are a hydrogen atom or a hydrocarbon group which may be substituted or R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 are combined to form a cyclic amino group together with the adjacent nitrogen atom; R.sup.5 is hydrogen atom or a hydrocarbon group or heterocyclic group which may be substituted; X is an electron attractive group; Y is a hydroxyl or substituted hydroxyl group, amino or substituted amino group or mercapto or substituted mercapto group; n is 0 or 1; or their salts, which are useful as insecticides.
