Abstract

The invention relates to a process for the preparation of crystalline clathrasil of the dodecasil 1 H structural type having an average crystal size of not more than 20 .mu.m, characterised in that an alkaline aqueous silicate-containing medium comprising templates and crystallisation seeds is heat-treated, the crystallisation seeds content, relative to the SiO.sub.2 content of the medium, being not less than 1% by weight.
