Abstract

Oil-soluble polymer improving the viscosity index of lubricating oils, endowed with dispersant properties and capable of lowering the pour point ('pour point depressant'), obtained by means of a first step of reaction between a polyolefinic copolymer and a mixture of C.sub.8 -C.sub.25 alcohol (meth)acrylates and (meth)acrylic acid and a second step of condensation of the so modified copolymer with a polyamine.
