Abstract
A camera for recording photographing data on a photographic film during one frame advancement of the film. During advancement, an encoded disk rotates with a driven roller in contact with the film. A photo-interrupter generates an ENC pulse each time the encode disk rotates through a predetermined angle, and supplies it to a microcomputer. Each time the microcomputer receives an ENC pulse, it measures a pulse period between a previously generated ENC pulse and presently generated ENC pulse. In accordance with the measured pulse period, a predicated pulse period between the presently generated ENC pulse and a next ENC pulse is calculated. N timings are obtained by dividing the predicted pulse period to record N-bits of data on the film during the predicted period by driving a recording head N times.
