Abstract

Disclosed is a color diffusion transfer photographic material improved in transfer density (Dmax) and treating temperature dependency thereof on color diffusion transfer, comprising a color diffusion transfer light-sensitive element containing at least one compound represented by the following formula (I) and an alkali treating composition: ##STR1## wherein X represents an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, an aralkyl group, an alkenyl group, an aryl group, an alkoxy group, an aryloxyl group, an acylamino group, a sulfonylamino group, a ureido group, an alkylthio group, an arylthio group, an alkoxycarbonyl group, a carbamoyl group, a sulfamoyl group, a sulfonyl group, an acyl group, a urethane group, an amino group, a sulfamoylamino groups, a cyano group, a hydroxyl group, a phosphonic acid ester group or a heterocyclic group; n represents an integer of 1 to 5; Xs may be the same or different, when n is 2, 3, 4 or 5; two Xs may be combined with each other to form a saturated ring or an unsaturated ring, when n is 2, 3, 4 or 5; and the substituents may further be substituted by other substituents.
